Some people swear that they can’t live without their tablets/laptops/computers but when you’re forced to do just that, life has a funny way of going on anyway. My tablet died in June. And affording a new one was a bit of a challenge so I had to wait.
Life, however, roped me in and dragged me down into a whirlpool but things managed to work out and I’m here. Still standing and, hopefully, a bit wiser. While all that was going on, I rediscovered the “old school” way of writing. That was how I used to do it and I have to say it felt like I was going back to my roots.
It. Felt. Great.
I was a lot less judgemental and the idea flowed so much better. I enjoyed writing these stories and the process in general. Of course, it’s a bit more work because I have to now transcribe what I’ve written but I’m good with it.
So, in my offline time, I wrote out Fortune’s Smile and Fashion House,
two standalone stories, plus I outlined a story for a new series I hope to release 2017/8.
Plus, I’m planning to release something special for the Baxter Family Saga before I get Baxter 4 ready (😩 yes, yes, I know. There wasn’t supposed to be a Baxter 4 but Quinn made a liar out of me. More about that later)
So, as I play a monster game of Catch Up as well as some other pressing personal business, I will be trying to get my self-publishing ducks back in a row.
I will keep you all posted.
